Fiyoaree has an identity.  Known for its own beauty and cleanliness due to the unique geographical setting of four tropical island, crystal blue lagoons, world class surf break – Beacon, along with natural sanctuary “Laabadhuvaa” island across the channel. In the biggest atoll in the world, Fiyoaree is located 30 min away from equator, an island with a perfect weather, accompanied with rich fishing grounds, along with friendly people of fiyoaree has a story to tell the world.  

Fiyoree has been a life line for the rest of the people living in Huvadhoo Atoll. Fiyoaree has been producing taro which is the main source of food in the past. The island still cultivates taro root which is a gluten free food, good for Celiac Disease and for health-conscious traveler. 

Fiyoaree has been the producer of quality reeds, the only island in the Maldives that grows the best premium quality reed fused for traditional mat weaving. The reed beds are beautiful to relax and admire the beauty of the environment. 

Tourists can take a day to understand the nature of large unique mangrove which is a home for different birds. The atmosphere is calm and quiet, creating an atmosphere to de-stress and appreciate the nature. 

Fiyoaree has over 50 registered farmlands used to cultivate fruits and vegetables such as watermelon, chilly, cucumber, and butternut. Take a tour to the farm and learn how small island communities grow their food in the Maldives.
